GNOW and Sixteen Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence

Embassy St. George’s marked the Sixteen Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) with a visit on December 6 to a poster show sponsored by the Grenada National Organization of Women (GNOW) on GBV entitled “Speak Up, Speak Out.”  Chargé d’Affaires to Grenada Lou Crishock toured the exhibit together with GNOW President Bernadette Bartholomew and Program Director Lorice Pascal.  The exhibit included a room where the organization could conduct interactive, age-appropriate training for school children in how to report abuse as well as pamphlets for adults on Gender-Based Violence, Sexual Violence, and Grenada’s Domestic Violence Act of 2010.
